WifiCespu Network Configuration (Android and Windows 8.1/10)

To access the Wireless Network “WifiCespu“,the user must set up it on the devices.

On this page we show you the settings for:

    • Android devices;
    • Microsoft Windows 8.1/10
    • Wireless Network Setup WifiCespu for Android Mobile Devices

WifiCespu Wireless Network Configuration for Android Mobile Devices

1. Access the “Settings” menu and then “Wi-Fi

2. Search for and select the network “WifiCespu

3. Change three options:
                Method EAP – PEAP
                Phase Authentication 2 – MSCHAPV2
                CA Certificate – Do Not Validate
(if these three options do not appear at the top of the screen you should go down to advanced options)

4. Fill in the Identity and Password fields with Institutional Email and Password
(The Field, Anonymous Identity, should not be filled)

Now click on CONNECT

 

If you are still unable to connect to WifiCespu after what you have done above, you should go down to Advanced Options and make the following changes:
                Proxy will change from None to Manual
                On Proxy Host Name put proxy.cespu.pt
                On Proxy Port insert the number 3128
                Finally, in IP Settings choose the option DHCP

Try again, TURN ON

WifiCespu Wireless Network Configuration for Microsoft Windows 8.1 / 10 Devices

1. On the Desktop, select the WiFi Network icon

2. Search for and select the “WifiCespu” Network. Click on “Connect

3. Enter Institutional credentials and click “OK

4. If the message appears as shown in the image below, just click on “Connect

5. After completing the process, you will see that the WifiCespu network has been successfully configured if the message “Connected” appears

If you are still unable to establish a connection with the WifiCespu network, you should go to the Information Systems Department (DSI), located in Building 2, Floor 0, Room 2050 (Gandra) or contact us by email helpdesk@dsi.cespu.pt
